At Hopkins Federal Savings Bank we have
always endeavored to treat our customer’s information with care.
Your trust and confidence is very important to us. Under new and
existing laws and regulations, we must provide you with the
following information about how your nonpublic personal
information is collected, handled, and safeguarded. Further, we
will explain to whom we disclose this information to in our
effort to provide you with the best quality services and
products you have come to know and expect from Hopkins Federal
Savings Bank (also referred to as “Hopkins Federal”, “HFSB”,

about you to anyone, except as permitted by law. Hopkins
Federal Savings Bank does not sell its customers’ information to
third parties.
Hopkins Federal does not give its customers’ information to
third parties, except where necessary to assist you in
conducting your transactions. Accordingly, HFSB does employ
outside vendors to provide you, our customer, with the best
possible service. We do take appropriate steps to protect and
ensure the confidentiality of any of customers’ personal
information that is shared with these outside vendors. Any of
these third parties with whom we have contracted to provide
operational functions on behalf of the bank and its customers
have contractually agreed that your information will be treated
confidentially, and that it will only be used for the purpose
intended.
By allowing Hopkins Federal to share information with our
affiliates, you benefit by our being able to offer you
additional products and services offered by our affiliated
mortgage companies. We offer these products to those customers
who are most likely to find them valuable. In order to provide
these products, we may share nonpublic personal information with
our affiliates, such as information we receive from you on your
application or other forms. This information could include you
name, address, social security number, assets, income,
creditworthiness, and credit history.
THE CONFIDENTIALITY, SECURITY, AND INTEGRITY OF YOUR
NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you
to those employees who need to know that information to provide
products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic,
and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to
guard your nonpublic personal information.
NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION AND FORMER CUSTOMERS
If you ever decide to close your account(s) or become an
inactive customer, we will follow the privacy policies and
practices as described in this notice.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO OPT OUT OF DISCLOSURE TO OUR AFFILIATES
If you prefer that we do not disclose nonpublic personal
information to our affiliates, you may fill out the
Opt Out Form
and return it to us by mail or by dropping it off at one of our
branches.
If you have a joint account, an opt out instruction given by one
of the joint account holders will affect all holders of the
account.
